Loading BazaarCo. Preparing your marketplace experience. This Seller Delivery and Pickup Policy explains the operational standards Sellers must follow when preparing orders for dispatch, handover, pickup, delivery coordination, return-to-origin handling, and related logistics support on BazaarCo.
It applies alongside the Seller Agreement, Seller Code of Conduct, Seller Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.
This is primarily a seller-facing policy. Buyer-facing delivery promises, delivery charges, and order-shipping disclosures are addressed in the Shipping and Delivery Policy.
This policy applies to marketplace orders where:
BazaarCo may support different logistics models for different Sellers, categories, zones, or order types, including seller drop-off, courier pickup, direct seller dispatch, or hybrid fulfillment workflows.
Sellers must ensure that each accepted order is ready for dispatch within the timeline communicated in the seller dashboard, order workflow, campaign terms, or other BazaarCo instructions.
Before pickup or handover, Sellers must:
Sellers are responsible for packaging products in a way that is reasonably suitable for storage, pickup, sorting, transit, and delivery.
Packaging should be:
BazaarCo may issue packaging instructions, category-specific handling requirements, or labeling standards from time to time. Sellers must follow those requirements where provided.
Depending on the Seller’s setup, BazaarCo may require one or more of the following logistics methods:
The logistics method for a Seller or order may change based on service area, order volume, category risk, staffing, courier capacity, or marketplace operations.
If an order is marked ready for pickup or dispatch, the Seller must ensure that:
Repeated readiness failures, no-shows, unavailable contacts, or non-handover situations may be treated as seller performance issues.
BazaarCo may apply dispatch targets, cut-off times, same-day processing expectations, next-day handover requirements, or campaign-specific fulfillment timelines depending on the product type, service area, and logistics model.
Sellers are responsible for reviewing and meeting the applicable operational timelines communicated by BazaarCo.
If a Seller anticipates delay, the Seller should notify BazaarCo through approved channels promptly. Notice of delay does not automatically excuse non-performance or prevent operational penalties.
Pickup or handover may fail if:
Where a pickup or handover fails, BazaarCo may:
BazaarCo or its logistics partners may contact the Buyer to coordinate delivery timing, location clarification, OTP verification, or receipt confirmation where applicable.
Sellers must not independently interfere with BazaarCo’s delivery workflow in a way that creates confusion, duplicate commitments, or off-platform transactions.
If BazaarCo requests seller assistance for product clarification, package confirmation, or address-related issue resolution during transit, the Seller must respond reasonably promptly.
If BazaarCo, a delivery partner, or a Buyer identifies that a parcel appears:
BazaarCo may pause dispatch, stop delivery, return the parcel, cancel the order, initiate a claim review, or require the Seller to provide clarification or replacement.
Sellers remain responsible for seller-caused packing errors, wrong-item dispatch, shortage, and product-condition issues.
An order may be returned to origin or otherwise returned in cases such as:
Where an order is returned, BazaarCo may:
When a parcel is returned or reported undeliverable, the Seller must cooperate with BazaarCo by:
If returned inventory is not collected, acknowledged, or addressed within the operational period communicated by BazaarCo, BazaarCo may apply its standard storage, disposal, return-routing, or claims-handling process.
Responsibility for a logistics issue depends on the stage at which the problem arose and the available evidence.
BazaarCo may review:
If BazaarCo determines that a loss, damage, wrong-item issue, or shortage was caused by the Seller, BazaarCo may allocate responsibility to the Seller through refund adjustment, payout deduction, replacement handling, or account action.
Pickup fees, shipping deductions, redelivery costs, failed-handover costs, return-to-origin charges, packaging-related deductions, or other logistics costs may apply depending on the Seller’s commercial terms, account type, category, zone, courier model, and operational history.
Any such deductions, where applicable, may be reflected in seller onboarding materials, dashboard disclosures, payout statements, settlement summaries, or other BazaarCo commercial communications rather than fixed public fee tables.
BazaarCo may track delivery-related seller performance, including:
Poor or abusive performance may result in:
BazaarCo may revise this policy from time to time to reflect operational changes, courier partner requirements, service-area changes, product-risk considerations, or updates in law or platform process. The latest version will be posted on the Platform with the updated effective date.
