Loading BazaarCo. Preparing your marketplace experience. This Seller Payout and Settlement Policy explains how BazaarCo calculates, withholds, adjusts, and releases seller payouts for marketplace orders.
It should be read together with the Seller Agreement, Commission Information, Payment Policy, Cancellation Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Buyer Protection Policy.
This policy is a public summary of settlement mechanics. Seller-specific commercial terms, dashboard disclosures, campaign terms, and actual settlement statements may provide more detailed transaction-level information and will control where they apply.
For eligible marketplace orders, BazaarCo may collect or facilitate payment from Buyers and then settle the net payable amount to the relevant Seller after applicable checks, deductions, adjustments, and holding conditions are satisfied.
Seller payout is not the same as order placement, payment authorization, or order confirmation. Payment may be collected from the Buyer before the Seller becomes eligible for settlement.
An order or order item generally becomes eligible for settlement only after BazaarCo determines that the transaction has reached an appropriate release stage.
This may include factors such as:
BazaarCo may apply different release timing by category, payment method, logistics model, campaign type, account tier, or risk profile.
BazaarCo may process seller payouts on a periodic basis, such as daily, weekly, fortnightly, or another operational cycle communicated to Sellers through the dashboard, onboarding terms, or account setup.
The applicable payout cycle may depend on:
BazaarCo does not guarantee that every eligible transaction will be paid out immediately upon eligibility if it falls outside the applicable payout batch or processing window.
The amount released to a Seller is generally the net payable amount after applying all relevant deductions, reversals, recoveries, and adjustments.
Depending on the transaction, these may include:
The final transaction-level or cycle-level breakdown shown in BazaarCo’s settlement records will generally control.
BazaarCo may delay, reserve, or withhold some or all funds otherwise payable to a Seller where reasonably necessary to manage marketplace, payment, legal, or operational risk.
This may happen where:
Holding or reserving funds does not necessarily mean wrongdoing has been established. It may be a temporary risk-control measure.
Seller payout eligibility may change after an order is initially recorded if the order is later:
In such cases, BazaarCo may:
Payouts may fail, be delayed, or be returned if:
Sellers are responsible for keeping payout details accurate and usable. BazaarCo may delay release of funds until corrected details are provided and verified.
If refunds, reversals, chargebacks, penalties, or other recoveries exceed the amount currently payable to a Seller, BazaarCo may maintain a negative balance or recover the shortfall through lawful set-off mechanisms.
This may include:
BazaarCo may make settlement information available through the seller dashboard, downloadable statements, payout summaries, reports, or other seller-facing records.
These records may show, where relevant:
Sellers should review settlement records promptly and raise any genuine discrepancy through BazaarCo support with reasonable supporting details.
BazaarCo may correct calculation errors, duplicate credits, mistaken reversals, missing deductions, or other settlement discrepancies identified through automated checks, human review, banking feedback, or seller support review.
This may result in:
BazaarCo’s records, payment-provider records, courier records, and dispute outcomes may all be considered during reconciliation.
If a Seller account is suspended, restricted, or terminated, BazaarCo may continue holding funds for a reasonable period where necessary to cover:
Final payout after account closure, if any, may be delayed until BazaarCo reasonably determines that outstanding risks have been addressed.
Sellers remain responsible for their own tax registrations, filings, invoicing obligations, and related compliance duties unless the law or a written BazaarCo process states otherwise.
Settlement records may reflect:
BazaarCo may request tax-related information from Sellers and may delay payout where necessary to satisfy legal or compliance requirements.
BazaarCo aims to operate commercially reasonable payout processes, but exact receipt timing depends on several factors outside BazaarCo’s sole control, including:
Accordingly, BazaarCo does not guarantee that payout will arrive on a fixed date unless expressly committed in a Seller-specific arrangement.
BazaarCo may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in payment infrastructure, marketplace operations, fee structure, fraud controls, tax handling, or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted on the Platform with the updated effective date.
